august has been quite normal. went for make up high key ict last week. was a 1 wk prep for 6 div commander coc parade. it was a very easy and slack high key. reported to gedong last mon at 10am, did nothing at all in the office except reading magazines and left at 3pm. similar thing happened on tue. went down to mandai hill camp to liase with all the vehicles from the various camps. left at 4plus. wed was the worst. after the run in gedong at 9am, i just sat there and rot all the way till 3plus when we went to mandai hill camp. thur, fri was the rehearsal. even so, there are plenty of breaks. sat morning was the actual rehearsal. sun came and i went for the ahm 1okm run. was raining a lot the past few days and the field was muddy as a result. and what happens? my new running shoes are stained with mud!! arg.. i was so pissed.
went for the spf psychologist talk this morning. was an interesting one. 2hr session. but it was fun no doubt. still couldnt make up my mind whether to join moe or to join spf. sigh.. headache..
oh, and mooncake festival is coming!! all around the malls in singapore, you can see restaurants and hotels selling mooncakes. taka's mooncake festival fare will open on thur 28 aug. bought a box of white lotus paste double yolk mooncakes from dong hai restaurant today at $33. quite cheap i will say. but thats because of the offer. without offer, the price is $45!! expensive!! looking forward to the fare on thur.. so many nice and interesting mooncakes to choose from and sample before buying. there's chinese mooncakes and western mooncakes. western mooncakes meaning there is no lotus or dao sha or those traditional paste in the mooncake. instead, mousse is used as the filling. coffee flavour, mango flavour, oreo flavour. interesting indeed. fare in parkway is alread open today i think. was there just now. compared to taka's fair, its a far cry. no harm looking at it anyway, right? afterall, its the mooncake festival coming soon. yummy yummy mooncakes.. slurp..

been 4 wks since the genting trip. so happy and in joyous mood 4 wks ago. 4wks later now, who would have known that i will be feeling sad and no way near the same feelings 4 wks ago. only if i can go back to 4 wks ago and relive those few days again and again..
