still having hangover of bali. missing bali. much. very much. time flies so quickly. exactly 1 wk ago, i'm preparing to go to the airport, excited. and now, here i am blogging bout it, 1 wk later. its a very nice n relaxing place. wish the trip can be longer. will go back again some time.

came back from bali yesterday night. landed in spore at 640pm, ending our short 4 day trip. was looking forward to the trip with dear and time flew by so fast. we reached the airport at around 4pm on fri. checked in and shopped in transit before boarding our plane. flight was supposed to be at 725pm but it got re-timed to 8pm. when we checked in at 745pm, the plane was not even at the terminal yet. its been delayed another 30min. as a result, we reached our hotel near 12 midnight. our room was given a free upgrade to the ocean view room. as it was late, we slept once we reached the room. the next morning, we were greeted by the greatest view ever. we could see the ocean from the balcony. we washed up and quickly went for breakfast before taking the shuttle bus to dfs galleria at kutta where we shopped for 3hrs. it was a boring shopping center and we had a hard killing time. 2pm, we took the shuttle bus back to the hotel. i went for a short swim and dip in the pool before going for our spa treatment. the spa massage was very nice. so nice i fell aslp. after the spa, we went for dinner. had "flying gurame". fish was crispy and the asam soup was simply fantastic. it was so damn nice. after dinner, we went to the centre of kutta to shop. got to know from the guide mr lanus that where we went to in the morning was the outskirt of kutta. so we went there to shop, walked the entire length, eventually ending up at hard rock hotel. the hotel was nice, but not as nice as ours. before going back, we went for ice cream at this ice cream shop. had a nice banana split before going back to our hotel by taxi. reaching our hotel, dear soon zonked out while i watched the incredibles on cartoon network. yeap. our hotel had cable tv. after the cartoon ended, i zonked out too, ending day 2 of the awesome bali trip.

just saw jig off at the airport 1.5 hours ago. its always a sad send-off. he's back for such a short time and gone for so long. 4 weeks flew by so quickly. still remembered the sun 3-4 wks before he came back when he called me. couldnt talk long so i called him back later but couldnt get thru. then the wkday bout 3 wks before he's back when i called him in america. was at taka at that nite, talking for about 20min or so on the phone. talked about what i studied in nie, psychology courses that are similar to what he studied in the states. and then 3 wks later, he is back. met him for the 1st time on the sat of 16 may at raffles city basement, after his trip to marina barriage for the singapore arts festival opening ceremony. the 2nd time was 1wk later on tue when we went to the illuma together to check out the place and then tat same thur at vivo where we watched the premier of the night at the museum 2. the following wk, met up for dinner at pizza hut after which he watched terminator n dear n i watched angel n demon. then it was this mon when he attended my rom, and now, he's on his way back to the states again. will be another yr before i get to see him again. 13 years of friendship. saw a quote on the bus just now: A friend is the best present you can give yourself. i had a very good present which i had for 13 years. n its so sad to see him leave before getting to see him again. take care jig. hopefully i will have a chance to go over in dec to drop a visit. keep in contact my friend.

had a very good slp yest. was a tiring day yest but totally enjoyed myself. the day passes so quickly. so very happy that my good pals in life are here to share the joy with me. chenghao, kanglun, jignesh, wenxiang, zhihao. even my nie friends, ahmad, brian and meiying gave their blessings too. really appreciate everything. friends who are there for me through good and bad times, friends who comforted me when i'm down, friends who shared my joy with me. somehow, the day passed so quickly. the 7 hours zoomed past in a flash n soon we have part. all good things will come to an end. how true. but what's important is i enjoyed their company and presence. we'll meet up again for sure. jig, if u are reading this, take care and see u when u're next back again. =)

today marks a new chapter of my life. happily married to dear today, bought our house yesterday. happy with my life right now. have my own car, my career, our house, my dear. dont know what else to say. very tired and sleepy so i tink i shall head for bed. nitez.
